"I love this thing called life and I wouldn't trade it for anything except maybe another life."
Last year I flew all the way to Amsterdam just to hear/watch my good friend Leslie Ebony perform the most beautiful poems I've ever heard in my life. She's a poet you know. And a very talented one! I met her in my store in Lisbon, and as she was trying a couple of dresses and shoes, she started to recite her latest and dearest pieces... and I fell in love with her right there. In the middle of Pitanga.
That's how Love happens. When you least expect. And once I've stopped over analyzing it and honestly loving life, that was when life gave me something to love back. And I'm terrified. Because there's no way back. Once life gives you such a blessing, it is your duty to embrace it. And love it unconditionally!
My life is about to change, and I've decided that from now on I will do my very best to "Love Life". Someday I had to stop being cynical, get it?!! And just because that fact alone is not enough, I am going to do the things I love more often. And if I don't like something, I will change it. Life is simple. And it's happening now! So thank you my dear Leslie for reminding me to "Love Life". Wish you all do the same :)
